Trust, safety, and access controls

  • Signed, HttpOnly guest ownership claims now protect guest link refresh, statistics, and account adoption.
  • Suspended and banned accounts are rechecked against current account status before sensitive actions.
  • Owner pause state is separated from moderation revocation so a reviewed block cannot be self-reversed.
  • Public link creation, contact, and abuse reports use shared database-backed rate limits.
  • Destination validation now accepts only public HTTP(S) targets and rejects private or reserved networks.

SEO, privacy, and accessibility

  • Canonical metadata, structured data, robots rules, and a curated sitemap now cover public editorial and product routes.
  • User-created pages are currently served with noindex directives; a public page address is not access control.
  • Optional analytics and performance telemetry now load only after an explicit consent choice.
  • Keyboard navigation, dialog focus, live status announcements, input sizing, and color contrast were improved.
  • Short-link responses now distinguish active redirects from missing and intentionally unavailable records.

Current short-link product surface

  • URL shortening with optional custom aliases (3–16 characters).
  • Ownership-protected click totals, activity trends, top-link results, referrer host labels, and broad device categories; geography reporting is not provided.
  • Free QR code generator with PNG/SVG downloads.
  • Email or Google sign-in with an account dashboard; signed guest links can be adopted after sign-in.
  • Optional Google Web Risk and Cloudflare Turnstile integrations when an operator configures them.
  • Individual accounts only; custom domains, white-label workspaces, SSO, and contractual SLAs are not offered.

Current hosted-page product surface

  • Template-based link-in-bio, VCard-style profile, and event information pages can be drafted, previewed, and published on UrlShorter addresses.
  • Supported blocks include text, links, contact and location details, social profiles, images, galleries, video, FAQs, event details, countdowns, and agendas.
  • Signed-in users can upload supported media; file validation is not represented as a general antivirus or malware-scanning guarantee.
  • Guest hosted pages and their signed browser ownership claims are configured to expire after 30 days.
  • Event pages present information and external links; built-in RSVP collection, ticketing, guest-list management, and calendar synchronization are not provided.
