How to create a trackable QR code
- Shorten your URL first. Paste your long link into the shortener on our homepage to get a compact short link.
- Generate the QR code from the short link. The QR code encodes the short URL, so visits through it contribute to that link's click total and recent activity.
- Test before printing. Scan the code with both an iPhone and an Android device, and verify the destination loads quickly on mobile data.
- Print with enough contrast and size. Dark modules on a light background, at least 2 × 2 cm for close-range scanning; larger for posters.
