1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UrlShorter website at urlshorter.cc and the link-shortening, QR code, and analytics services we provide (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service — whether or not you create an account — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

UrlShorter converts long URLs into short redirect links, generates QR codes, and provides click analytics. Short links created through the Service redirect visitors to the destination URL you supply. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content of destination pages.

3. Accounts and Guest Use

• You may create basic short links without an account. Guest links are associated with your browser and may be subject to retention limits.
• Creating an account (via Google sign-in) gives you a permanent dashboard for managing links and viewing analytics. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create links that point to, or to otherwise engage in:

• Phishing, malware, spyware, or any content designed to harm users or devices;
• Fraud, scams, deceptive practices, or impersonation of any person or brand;
• Content that is illegal in the jurisdiction where it is published or accessed;
• Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or artificial click manipulation;
• Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• Circumventing filters, blocklists, or moderation systems of other platforms.

We scan destinations and may disable any link, or suspend any account, that we reasonably believe violates this section — with or without notice. Repeated or serious violations result in permanent termination.

5. Your Content and Data

You retain all rights to the destination URLs and metadata you submit. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service — storing your URLs, serving redirects, and generating analytics. Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

6. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep redirects fast and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice of changes that materially affect active links.

7. Advertising

Parts of the website may display advertising, including ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertisers do not receive your personal data from us beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UrlShorter disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UrlShorter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or business — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UrlShorter from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the destinations you link to, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
