Event page templates

An event page template gives an event one shareable address with the details people ask about first: what, when, where, and how to take part. Each template includes an event block (title, date, time, location), an introduction, a venue card, and a primary button that you point at your own registration, ticketing, or RSVP system.

The templates vary by occasion. Conference and corporate layouts add an agenda; webinar and workshop layouts add outcomes and materials; wedding, birthday, and community layouts add a gallery or FAQ. UrlShorter hosts the page and the link; ticket sales, RSVP collection, and calendar invitations are handled by whatever service you link to.

When to use a events template

  • Conference and summit pages with agenda, speakers, and a registration link
  • Wedding and birthday invitations shared by message or QR code
  • Product launches with a countdown and early-access link
  • Webinars and workshops that need outcomes, materials, and a signup link
  • Community events and meetups with volunteer roles and practical FAQs

How to choose

Choose by the detail visitors need most
Agenda-heavy events suit the conference, corporate, and meetup layouts. Single-moment events like launches and concerts suit the poster-style layouts with one dominant action.
Check whether you need a countdown or FAQ
The launch template includes a countdown block; the community, wedding, and workshop templates include an FAQ. Both can be added to any template later, but starting with them saves setup time.
Plan the primary action
The template button links to a placeholder registration address. Decide where attendees should go (ticketing, a form, a calendar link) and update that URL before sharing the page.

Customizing a events template

  1. Preview the template and confirm the agenda, gallery, or FAQ blocks you need are included.

  2. Select Customize this template to open the builder.

  3. Set the event title, date, time, and venue in the event block; add a map link in the location card.

  4. Point the primary button at your real registration, ticket, or RSVP destination.

  5. Publish and share the urlshorter.cc/event/ address, or generate a QR code for invitations and posters.

Frequently asked questions

Does the event page collect RSVPs or sell tickets?

No. The page presents event details and links out to the RSVP, ticketing, or registration service you choose. UrlShorter does not process payments or attendee data.

Can I add a countdown to any event template?

Yes. The countdown block is available in the builder for every event template; the product launch template simply includes it by default.

What happens to the page after the event?

The page stays published until you unpublish or delete it. Guest-created pages expire 30 days after creation; sign in to keep a page longer.

Can I embed a map or video?

The location block accepts a map link that opens in a new tab, and video blocks support YouTube and direct video URLs. Embedded content loads only from allowed providers.
