Digital business card (vCard) templates

A digital vCard page is a hosted contact card: your name, role, a short introduction, and one-tap actions for email, phone, and website, followed by professional profiles. The templates here publish to a urlshorter.cc/vcard/ address that fits on a QR code, an email signature, or a conference badge.

Templates in this category differ in tone and in which supporting block they include: a featured property for agents, a repository list for developers, services and proof points for consultants, or selected work for creative professionals. The contact block itself is shared across all of them. UrlShorter does not generate a downloadable .vcf file; if visitors need an address-book import, link to a file you host elsewhere.

When to use a digital vcard template

  • Conference badges and name tags that open a full profile from a QR code
  • Email signatures that link to current contact details instead of static text
  • Sales and recruiting outreach where one tap should start a call or booking
  • Freelancers and consultants presenting services and availability alongside contact details
  • Agents and brokers showcasing a featured listing with direct contact actions

How to choose

Match the supporting block to your work
The developer template ships with a projects list, the real estate template with a featured property, and the consultant template with services and proof points. Starting from the right block saves rebuilding the page structure.
Decide between a portrait-led or text-led card
Creative and freelancer layouts lead with an image and a statement. Corporate and minimal layouts lead with name, role, and actions. Both support an avatar; the difference is emphasis.
Keep the primary action obvious
A contact page should make the preferred channel the first tappable element. Reorder blocks in the builder so your preferred action (call, email, booking) sits above secondary profiles.

Customizing a digital vcard template

  1. Preview the card on mobile; most visitors arrive from a QR code or a phone.

  2. Select Customize this template to open the builder with the card applied.

  3. Replace the name, role, bio, email, phone, and website in the contact block, and remove any channel you do not use.

  4. Update social profile URLs and remove placeholders. Each link is validated to use a safe http, https, mailto, or tel scheme.

  5. Publish, then shorten the address or generate a QR code for printed material.

Frequently asked questions

Does the vCard template create a downloadable contact file?

No. The page publishes as a hosted web profile with tap-to-call, email, and website actions. If you need a .vcf file for address-book import, create it with a separate tool and link to it from a button on the page.

Can I add a profile photo?

Yes. The builder supports an avatar in the profile settings and an image block for a larger portrait. Uploads are validated for type and size before they are stored.

Will my phone number be visible to search engines?

Pages are not indexed by default. Search visibility is an opt-in setting that requires a review, so a contact card shared by QR code or signature stays out of search results unless you ask for indexing.

Can I update the card after printing the QR code?

Yes. The page address does not change when you edit content, so printed codes and signatures keep working after updates.
